Two progresses for my linux home station:

1. After I removed the webclient from my winxp machine and erased the line "client code page" in smb.conf, my samb ran faster now. I will also check the log file to see if there is any issue remind. (only if I have time)
   


2. My TNT2 finally can output to my TV directly. Actually, I still fell very confused.
   
   
   • First, TNT2 can automatically detect current monitor connection. For example: I unpluged my CRT monitor and connected TV to TNT2 only, TNT2 is smart enough switch the signal to TV. Once I connected my CRT, it switch to CRT back. I think TNT2 likes CRT much better than TV
   
   
   • Second, I cannot use Twinview successfully in TNT2. It never works. What I am doing is modify xorg.conf to let TV as my default and only moniter. It looks fine now. Anyway, it is my purpose too. If I like really good X window destop, I can use Exceed in my WinXp.
   
   
   
   

Now , only thing left so far is Bittorrent, wxpython has problem on my GTK package. I cannot find the answer from Google. I will try JAVA base client to see I can success :)
